11 people killed in rains, flash floods in Rajasthan
Jaipur, July 18: Eleven people, including seven school children, were killed in rains and flash floods in Rajasthan since yesterday, police said today.

Five children were swept away in flash floods in
Sawaimadhopur district's Jakholas village and two at its
Barnala village, Superintendent of Police Govind Gupta told
a news agency.
One women each were killed in lightning in Bukana and
Khasa villages of the district, he said.
Two boys drowned in a reservoir in Moisadda village of
Jhunjhunu district during the period.
The state was lashed by moderate to heavy rains with
Mangalsar receiving the maximum 7 cms rainfall followed by
Jaipur, Rajgarh, Sikar, Viratnagar, Marwar junction,
Thanagazi, Deedwana and Jhunjhunu with 3 cms each.
Ajmer, Kota, Bikaner and Udaipur districts were also lashed by rains.
The Met office forecast rains in the state till Sunday.
