Gwalior, June 25: BJP today squarely blamed the Congress for the acute power crisis in Madhya Pradesh.
Commenting on the white paper brought out by the Madhya Pradesh government which held the Centre responsible for the power crisis, BJP General Secretary Pramod Mahajan told reporters it was "absurd" and the Centre was nowhere in the picture. The division of Madhya Pradesh was carried out unanimously by the unified state assembly through a resolution, he said, adding it was for the "Raja" (Chief Minister Digvijay Singh) and Ajit Jogi (Chattisgarh Chief Minister) to come together and help solve the problem.
