New Delhi, Oct 21: B S Bhatnagar, who reportedly was the first person to enter deceased scribe Shivani Bhatnagar's flat in East Delhi after she was fatally attacked on January 23, 1999, identified the weapons allegedly recovered from the murder site in a city court today.
Identifying two knives, a pan, its woodden handle and a yellow wire, the witness told Additional Sessions Judge Sunil Gaur that he had seen them near Shivani's body as he entered her apartment that day.

Bhatnagar, who is also the brother-in-law of Shivani's husband, said as he entered the flat in Navkunj Apartment, he saw Shivani lying on the bed room floor with her head facing the door. Though he loudly called out Shivani's name, she did not respond, he said adding he then heard the cries of her baby from the neighbouring room.
