Cong files complaint against BJP in CM`s constituency
New Delhi, Nov 30: The Congress yesterday filed a complaint with the returning officer about the presence of anti-social elements in the Gole Market constituency from where Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit is contesting the December 01 Delhi Assembly elections.

Congress sources told reporters that the party, in its complaint to
the returning officer for the constituency, has said there are
apprehensions of disturbance in the polls in view of the presence of
anti-social elements.
The complaint was filed after a Congress worker Kunwar Singh Lamakothi was allegedly beaten up and his vehicle destroyed by supporters of BJP candidate Poonam Azad in R K Ashram area of the constituency.
However, it could not be confirmed from the office of returning officer if the complaint had been received. The returning officer for the constituency is on medical leave.
DCP (New Delhi) Manoj Lall said a case under Sections 323, 341 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered and probe is launched in the case.
