Six members of a family, including three women, were killed and another injured by armed miscreants at Nawada village in Nalanda district in the wee hourson Thursday, police said. An earlier report from police had said that eight people were killed in a clash at Nawada village late on Wednesday night. Long-standing land dispute was suspected to be the reason behind the killing, they said, adding the victims belonged to the Yadava community.
District magistrate and police superintendent of Nalanda have already arrived at the incident site and raids were being conducted at various places to nab the miscreants, the sources said.
