Istanbul, Mar 02: A small earthquake shook the southeastern Turkish province of Adiyaman early today, killing six people when one house collapsed, Turkish television channels said. A TV news channel said two people were also injured.
The earthquake measured 3.8 on the Richter scale and struck just before 2 AM. (0530 IST) in the district of Celikhan, the Kandilli observatory in Istanbul said on its web site. No further details were immediately available.
