New Delhi, Dec 08: Hong Kong-based Asia Netcom has set up a subsidiary to strengthen its Indian operations by bringing in the company's pan-asia network infrastructure and services to the country. The establishment of the new 100 per cent-owned subsidiary aims to extend Asia Netcom's capabilities within the Indian sub-continent, a company release here. India has immense potential in areas like IP VPN, Rohit Arora, country general manager, Indian sub-continent, Asia Netcom, said. With India emerging as a major centre for BPO to MNCs, there is now a growing requirement for high performance connectivity and IP solutions to reach the rest of Asia and beyond, he said.
The new entity Asia Netcom India Pvt Ltd aims to fulfil that need by bringing in Asia Netcom's IP VPN (internet-based virtual private network) offering to corporations operating in India. Bureau Report
