Militants threaten major strike in Srinagar
Srinagar, July 25: Miltants of Hizbul Mujahideen have issued a threat to carry out a major strike against security forces in this summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.

security forces in this summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
The threat by the outfit was issued over phone yesterday to a local news agecny Nafa, it said here.
However, Inspector General Kashmir police K Rajendra Kumar said, "We are aware of the threat but somebody else in the name of HM has issued it."
He said police has taken note of the information and all measures would be taken to thwart the evil designs of the militants.
