New Delhi, June 30: Lt Gen Tejinderjit Singh Gill, Director General Ordnance Service, retired today after putting in four decades of service. Lt Gen Gill, who was also the colonel commandment of Army Ordnance Corps (AOC), was commissioned in 1963 and had a number of staff and command appointments during his long tenure in the army, an official release said. He held the unique distinction of commanding the AOC units in every rank from captain onwards and was a keen paratrooper who had been on deputation with the Nigerian Army also, it added. Bureau Report
