New Delhi, Sept 17: A city court today issued notice to Delhi Pradesh Congress President Chaudhary Prem Singh on a defamation suit filed against him by city BJP chief Madan Lal Khurana. Additional district and Sessions Judge Narottam Kaushal sought reply from Singh by September 27.

Khurana contended that Singh defamed him by alleging that he had embezzled crores of rupees collected during Parivartan Yatra. The state BJP chief said he filed the defamation suit demanding a token damage of Rs 101 as Singh did not reply to a legal notice sent to him.
