Nasik, Nov 28: Three persons have been arrested and four others suspended from the city-based India security press in connection with the multi-crore fake stamp paper scam. So far a retired chief purchase officer and two employees- a section officer and a clerk - have been arrested while four employees, including the then general manager Gangaprasad, have been suspended over the last one month, ISP sources said here today.

Gangaprasad was first transferred to Hyderabad and then suspended and he has been asked not to leave the station, the sources told news agencies.
"An inquiry by Special Investigation Team (SIT) and CBI is in progress at the ISP. The Centre is taking action against its employees following reports by the sit and Bangalore's stamp-investigation team," the sources said.

"ISP has about 7,000 workers but you cannot write off the whole staff as bad, its due to few officers and workers that the image of ISP has been maligned," they said.

With the SIT, the CBI team too is investigating the matter now, the sources added.
