Dehradun, Aug 29: Uttaranchal BJP president Puran Chand Sharma today ruled out any change of leadership in the state party unit amid reports that the party high command was contemplating such a move. "I don't see any move to change leadership in Uttaranchal BJP," Sharma told reporters here, adding the party high command would take the state leadership into confidence before taking any decision. Reacting to reports in a section of the media, Sharma said he has not been consulted by the party high command on the issue.
Ever since the party suffered debacle in the assembly elections, there had been speculation that BJP high command might change the state leadership.
