New Delhi, Nov 02: The CII's business outlook survey has projected a rise in exports during the remaining six months of the current financial year. The survey found that the majority of the respondents (67.3 per cent) expected a rise in exports, in terms of volume, while 63.6 per cent indicated the rise would be in value terms.

In the past six months, 19 per cent respondents realised lower values for their exports, in rupee terms. A lower 6.4 per cent foresaw a dip in the value of the exports in rupee terms in the next six months.

In dollar terms, 62.7 per cent of the respondents expect exports to grow in the next six months while 29 per cent expect no change and 8.3 per cent see a decline.

The survey said international competition would be one of the prime factors that would limit domestic exporters' ability to obtain greater export orders. Bureau Report
