Naidu accuses Cong of `double standard` on Ayodhya
Chennai, July 10: The BJP today accused Congress of `double standard` for insisting on a judicial solution to the Ayodhya issue saying it was Congress government which had allowed `Shilanyas` at the `disputed` same site in Ayodhya.
Chennai, July 10: The BJP today accused Congress of "double standard" for insisting on a judicial solution to the Ayodhya issue saying it was Congress government which had allowed "Shilanyas" at the "disputed" same site in Ayodhya.
"Now they want status quo on Ayodhya and want everybody
to wait for the court verdict. They are the people who allowed
'Shilanyas’ at the same site which is disputed," BJP president
M Venkaiah Naidu told reporters here.
"Congress party always maintains double standard. I find Congress leaders lacking conviction and nobody is going to but the party's arguments," he said.
