Lucknow, Nov 03: Tension prevailed in Bhatni area of Deoria district following the death of a youth after being severely beaten up by members of a particular community, police said today. A group of people set ablaze the houses of the rival community yesterday after the death of the youth in Ghali Bazar locality leading to tension, they said.
The police reached the spot and brought the situation under control, reports said adding no arrest had been made so far in this connection.
