BJP welcomes Allahabad High Court`s stay order
New Delhi, Sept 30: The BJP today welcomed the Allahabad High Court`s stay order on the framing of charges against Union Minister Murli Manohar Joshi in the Babri Masjid demolition case by the special court at Rae Bareli.

"We are very happy as we always believed that the case
was politically motivated," BJP spokesperson Prakash Javdekar
said here.
On whether the court order would affect Joshi's decision to resign, he said "Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will take the decision but we are happy that the charges have been stayed".
Javdekar denied their was any rift in the party on the issue of Joshi's resignation.
