Supual (Bihar), Oct 29: Normal life was paralysed here today by a 24-hour bandh called by ABVP to protest the delay in recovery of the grandson of a RJD leader and son of a local businessman who were kidnapped from Chakla Nirmali locality on Saturday last. Markets and shops remained closed and only a few vehicles plied in the town throwing normal life out of gear. Besides putting road blockades at different points in the town, the protestors jammed Birpur-Supual highway for several hours.
The bandh was called by the Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), student wing of BJP, and supported by traders' body.
On October 25, miscreants took Nikhil Kumar (10), grandson of district RJD leader Laleshwar Thakur, and Saket Kumar (10), son of a local businessman, with them on motorcycles from near their homes on the plea of providing them computer training free of cost.
