here today by a 24-hour bandh called by ABVP to protest the
delay in recovery of the grandson of a RJD leader and son of a
local businessman who were kidnapped from Chakla Nirmali
locality on Saturday last.
Markets and shops remained closed and only a few
vehicles plied in the town throwing normal life out of gear.
Besides putting road blockades at different points in the
town, the protestors jammed Birpur-Supual highway for several
