New Delhi, Oct 02: Delhi is the first state in the country where diagnostic and treatment facilities for leprosy patients are available in all its health centres and hospitals free of cost, Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit said today. Speaking after flagging off a leprosy awareness march from Rajghat to India Gate to mark the 134th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi today, Dikshit said that the disease was completely curable if treated in time and congratulated students and NGOs who participated in the march.
A large number of students from various schools in the capital participated in the march.
