Patna, Aug 19: The spate of kidnappings continued in Bihar with the abduction of a 17-year-old daughter of a social worker by unidentified mortorcycle-borne persons from Musallahpur Hatt locality here, police said today. Soni, daughter of social worker Sudhanshu Mishra, was waylaid on her way home by four motorcycle-borne persons in the locality under sultanganj police station area last night and kidnapped at gun point, deputy Superintendent of Police, Patna city, Arvind Gupta told newspersons.

The girl's elder sister, who was accompanying her back from the computer coaching class, put up a resistance but was pushed to the ground by the persons, who whisked Soni away, police said.
An FIR has been registered with the Sultanganj Police Station and intensive searches are being conducted to nab the culprits, Gupta said.

A lecturer of Bihar college of pharmacy Dinesh Prasad, who was kidnapped on August 13 by unidentified persons, was found by police on Sunday on the Mokamah-by-pass road in Patna district.
