New Delhi, Sept 01: Microsoft India today flagged off the second series of workshops on software assets management in association with CII to highlight the need for adopting it as an integral business practice by organisations. The one-day workshop will be conducted in Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Pune, in the next few weeks, a Microsoft statement said here. "Efficient software asset management practices have become critical for ensuring that an organisation gains greater control over the software it deploys and builds competitive advantage," Punit Vanvaria, manager (business development), Microsoft Corporation, India said.
