Kancheepuram, Aug 26: The Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswathi today said that one would have to wait for the court verdict regarding the Ayodhya issue and 'accept it.'
"It has been said all these days by all that the court's verdict alone is final. Therefore, we have to wait for the court's verdict," he told reporters when asked to comment on the Archaeological Survey of India's report yesterday and also of many organisations coming out with comments on it.
The Seer said that 'moksha deepams' had been lit at the Kamakshi Amman temple here and other important temples to pray for the souls of those killed in the blasts at Mumbai.
He also said that the mutt was giving Rs 500 as pension to priests and 'devarams' of village temples, besides musicians.
