New Delhi, May 10: Congress president Sonia Gandhi today refused to comment on the possibility of NCP president Sharad Pawar’s joining NDA in case they failed to reach a consensus on the prime ministerial candidate. When asked to react over Sharad Pawar’s insistence on solving the prime ministerial issue after the elections, she simply asked the mediapersons to wait till the results of the Lok Sabha polls were declared on May 13th. Sonia Gandhi was among the first lot of political bigwigs to have cast their votes in the morning itself. She was accompanied by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. With Pawar looking in no mood to give up on the issue, troubles of Congress are far from over. Thus Sonia Gandhi’s silence may be seen as the calm before the storm that is awaiting the non-NDA camp after poll results are declared. Bureau Report
