Trade delegation from Pakistan in IITF after three years
Islamabad, Nov 14: A Pakistani trade delegation crossed over to India through Wagah border to participate in the upcoming India International Trade Fair after a gap of three years.
Islamabad, Nov 14: A Pakistani trade delegation crossed over to India through Wagah border to participate in the upcoming India International Trade Fair after a gap of three years.
Pakistan is participating in the event, to be held in New Delhi from November 14 to 27, after three years as a result of the on-going efforts of the governments and trade bodies of the two countries to improve relations, Federation of Pakistan of Chambers of Commerce said.
In a statement before its departure, the delegation leader Muhammad Amin Khatri said the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) has provided subsidy of 50 per cent to Pakistani businesses participating in the Indian Trade Fair.
Pakistani businessmen planed to display marble, onyx, furniture, crockery, plastics, handicrafts, leather and leather products, dry fruits, textiles and glass bangles in the fair.
