New Delhi, July 01: With the arrest of two persons, Delhi Police today claimed to have smashed a network of underworld don Chhota Rajan in the capital. Adarsh Kumar alias Rahul alias Billa (26) and Vikas Dev Sharma alias Sahil Chaddha alias Karan Choudhary (26) were arrested from Chanakyapuri area by the crime branch personnel last night, Deputy Commissioner of Police (crime and railways) Dependra Pathak said.
The duo, along with Dharmendra Anand alias Punjabi arrested yesterday, were trying to organise a base for the Chhota Rajan gang in the capital, he said.
Adarsh and Vikas were allegedly using fake driving licences, Pan cards, debit cards and ration cards to finance cars and to get telephone and electricity connections to settle down in Delhi, he said.
Adarsh was in close contact with O P Singh, slain second-in-command of Chhota Rajan and had allegedly been engaged in criminal activities with him.
He was earlier arrested by the Delhi Crime Branch last year and remained in Tihar jail till March 2003 where he came in contact with several criminals as well, Pathak said.
