ASI begins examination of articles found during excavation
Ayodhya, June 12: The Archaeological Survey of India team carrying out excavation in the acquired land here has started examination and listing of articles found during the process, official sources said today.

The examination of the articles, which are in the team's custody, was being carried out in a big room in Manas Bhawan, situated in the east of the makeshift structure.
The counsel and representatives of contesting parties were given permission by the authorities to be present at the time of examination, the sources said.
They said it may take a week's time to complete the work.
Meanwhile, nine articles were found during digging in seven trenches today, the sources said adding 136 labourers, including 37 Muslims, were engaged in the work.
