Barabanki, Aug 31: Two persons were arrested here narcotics worth a crore in the international market was seized from their possession, police said today.
Police raided a house in Jaidpur police station area yesterday and arrested one person, said to be member of an international gang of smugglers and seized 520 grams of heroin.
In the other incident, a person was arrested by the police on patrol duty in the same area and recovered 500 gram of morphine from him, they said adding both have been sent to jail.
