Two Punjab cops booked under NDPS Act
Moga, June 15: Two head constables of Punjab police have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances act for allegedly concealing from their seniors a recovery of 25 kgs of poppy husk and keeping it with them, police said here today.

The duo, Gamdoor Singh and Harnam Singh, have been put under suspension but have not been arrested so far, they said.
The cops had reportedly recovered the husk last month while attached to the excise department. They allegedly kept the husk with them and failed to inform the senior officers, they added.
