Washington, Feb 12: Outraged U.S lawmakers have been holding hearings into salacious programming on television and radio spurred by the controversial Super Bowl half-time performance by Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake. This was the Super-Bowl half-time horseplay between Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson that led to the exposure of Jackson's breast to a live tv audience - and 200, 000 complaints. The incident generated so much outrage that U.S lawmakers have been holding special hearings to investigate. The performers say it was an accident. They and the broadcasters have apologised but the incident has spurred regulators and politicians in their efforts to crack down on what they see as bad behaviour on TV and radio.
