Chandigarh, July 11: Outlining the agenda of his party for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani today said BJP would seek judgement of people on steps taken by the party on issues of development and security.
"We will go to the people and ask them to judge us on the BJP's performance on the issues of development and security," he said inaugurating a three-day training camp of BJP legislators from northern region here.
He claimed that the party had attained success on steps taken by it on the development and security front of the country. "After seeing the successful work done by the BJP on these two issues several parties, which opposed certain programmes of the saffron party, had started reposing faith in it's policies," he said.

Advani said the party had taken the country to a situation where "we have reached to abundance from a state of scarcity."

He said that the BJP laid emphasis on improving roads and networking of rivers. "The economy of the country would drastically move upwards if roads and river networking was complete," Advani added. Bureau Report
