Lucknow, Oct 20: Jai Prakash Industries, the firm which was awarded the work of the Taj Express Highway project, today challenged in the Allahabad High Court the Constitution of a commission of inquiry to go into the allotment of contracts for the project. A division bench, comprising Justice Jagdish Bhalla and Justice P K Chatterjee, fixed October 30 for hearing the writ petition. The Uttar Pradesh government constituted Justice (Retd) Mishra Commission to probe into the allotment of contracts in the Taj Express Highway case after reports of illegal allotment of contracts came to light.
