Islamabad, June 04: Ruling out acceptance of Line of Control as a border as the only way to resolve Kashmir issue between Pakistan and India, Pakistan Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali today said success of dialogue process between two countries would depend on the "sincere reciprocity" from India. "A peaceful settlement of Kashmir issue could not be as simplistic as recognising the Line of Control as permanent border", Jamali said while addressing the participants of a war course at the National Defence College (NDC) here. Speaking on his government's vision of Pakistan, he said any solution to the Kashmir issue should be encompassing all the parties involved and hoped that India would respond positively to Pak peace overtures for initiating meaningful dialogue to resolve all outstanding issues, including Kashmir. He said peaceful and stable South Asia would enable both the countries to face the biggest challenge of combating poverty, hunger and disease that confront this region. Without directly referring to the tensions between his government and the provincial NWFP government headed by Islamist Alliance Mutahida Majlis Amal (MMA), he said his government remains committed to a modern, progressive and forward looking Pakistan, as visualised by Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Tensions prevailed between the Jamali government and the NWFP government after the provincial assembly adopted a Taliban style Shariah law. Bureau Report
