Mumbai, Aug 08: Videsh Sanchar Nigam is planning to implement Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) in the company, which the internet service provider expects to help it improve performance and provide "superior" quality products and services to its customers. The company, as one of the steps to this end, completed its Vision, Mission and Values (VMV) statements, which was started in April 2003, VSNL managing director S K Gupta said in a release on Thursday.

Upon completion of VMV statements, VSNL has adopted a new VMV, which would be used to prepare a new "set of performance" measures, he said.
TBEM was instituted by Tata group to improve productivity and competitiveness of the group companies.
