Srinagar, Aug 21: Six months after the second meeting of the Coordination Committee of Coalition Partners (CCCP) in Jammu and Kashmir over the functioning of the state government, the ruling Peoples Democratic Party and Congress and other allies will hold their third meeting in Srinagar today and tomorrow. Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress committee chief, Ghulam Nabi Azad, who is also chairman of the CCCP, has called the meeting to review functioning of the coalition government, its progress, implementation of programmes of development and common minimum programmes (CMPs), JKPCC sources told.
The Wazir commission report and Delimitation Commission besides setting up of state finance commission, panchayat elections, alternative sites for demolition victims and border migrants problems, custodial killings, paddy prices revision, political prisoners release and Dal/Nageen lakes development will also come up for discussion at the meeting, they said.
Besides this, the state government's progress on issues raised and recommended by the CCCP in the earlier meeting will also be discussed, they said
The first meeting of the CCCP was held on January 10 at Jammu followed by the second one on February 14-15 here. Bureau Report
