United States, Apr 14: Rasheed Wallace hit a three-pointer with 4.1 seconds left on the clock to give the Portland Trail Blazers a surprise 101-99 victory over the LA Lakers on Sunday. The victory ended the Lakers' six-game winning streak and gave Portland - who have two games left - hope of reaching the play-offs.
Shaquille O'Neal racked up 36 points and 11 rebounds for the Lakers with Kobe Bryant also contributing 36 points. Wally Szczerbiak equalled a franchise record with 44 points in the Minnesota Timberwolves' 119-95 win against the Chicago Bulls.
Jamal Crawford scored 22 points and Jay Williams had 18 to lead the Bulls, who have won only three times away from the United Centre all season. Paul Pierce scored 32 points for the Boston Celtics in their 94-86 defeat of the Miami Heat.
Antoine Walker added 24 points for the Celtics, who never trailed and withstood a late rally by the Heat. Caron Butler led the scoring for Miami with 20 points.
