New Delhi, July 30: Deputy Speaker P M Sayeed today
pulled up Samajwadi Party member Akhilesh Singh in Lok Sabha
for repeatedly trying to raise the issue of plight of
sugarcane farmers in Uttar Pradesh, saying such a behaviour
would not be tolerated.
Singh had a heated argument with Sayeed after the House
assembled during the post-lunch session.
The SP member said he would speak as he had given a notice for adjournment motion on the issue.
Suggesting that he should raise the matter tomorrow as the House had taken up a legislative business, Sayeed said "I will have to take serious note of your behaviour."
Sayeed had to raise his voice repeatedly asking the member to resume his seat.
