Pune, Nov 16: Senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde today demanded dismissal of the democratic front government in Maharashtra, claiming that its image had been sullied by the multi-crore fake stamps and stamp paper racket. Addressing reporters at Patrakar Bhavan Munde said, the lavish treatment provided to prime accused Abdul Karim Telgi by the police could not have been possible without the blessings of people in the home ministry.
He said that the government should act firmly on the report submitted by the special investigating team to the Chief Minister, adding stern action should be taken against those involved in the scam, irrespective of party affiliations.
