Kolkata, Feb 13: The West Bengal BJP today demanded that the ruling Left Front release a white paper on law and order in the state with special emphasis on the February 6 incident of molestation of women during a bus dacoity at Dhantala in Nadia district. Describing the incident as a 'pre-planned attack by ruling CPI (M) goons', BJP state chief Tathagata Roy alleged involvement of Bangladeshi infiltrators in such incidents of attack on Hindu women in bordering districts. Roy also demanded that the state government make public a detailed demographic composition of the state's bordering districts. The BJP leader said he would apprise the Centre of law and order prevailing in the state and also large-scale influx of Bangladeshis in bordering districts. BJP, he said, would organise a law violation programme in Nadia district tomorrow against the Dhantala incident and 'deteriorating law and order' in the state.
