Cairns (Australia), July 27: Bangladesh captain Khaled Mahmud has the unenviable record of being among the most expensive bowlers in Test cricket history after he failed to take a wicket while conceding 75 runs in the second Test against Australia here. He sent down 19 overs without reward as Australia amassed a first innings 556 for four wickets declared. That came after seven overs for 25 runs and no success in the first test in Darwin a week earlier.
In seven tests, he has career figures of 1-406.
Other bowlers who have found the going tough at the top level include:

Rual Lewis (WI) 1-318 in three Tests.

Roger Wijesuriya (SL) 1-294 in four Tests.

John Warr (England) 1-281 in two Tests.
