Valencia, Nov 26: David Coulthard tests McLaren's new 2004 Formula One car for the first time.
Briton David Coulthard gave McLaren's new 2004 Formula One car its track debut on Tuesday (November 25) as teams began testing for the first time since the end of the season in October. Coulthard, likely to be embarking on his last season with the Mercedes-powered team after they signed Colombian Juan Pablo Montoya from Williams for 2005, drove the MP4-19 at the Valencia circuit in Spain. "To be the first one to have the opportunity to try that new car is an honour. It's extremely positive, I think, to get that early feeling for the car and give direction to the engineers," said the Scot.
