Hyderabad, Sept 08: The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) today asked the chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu to drop ministers from his cabinet who were facing criminal charges. APCC president M Satyanarayyana Rao, told reporters here that "the chief minister has adopted regional partisan attitude by targeting only Telengana ministers while the ministers from Andhra and Rayalaseema region who were involved in heinous crimes continue to enjoy power".
Referring to resignations by former labour minister S Devaiah and Panchayat Raj minister P Srinivas Reddy following their indictment in criminal and corruption charges, he said "they were small fish in a big pond while the sharks were being pampered by Naidu".
Refuting the ruling party claim that Congress has withdrawn its agitation against the hike in power tariff, Rao said the party will continue its agitation until the hike is rolled back and urged the government to emulate Kerala government decision on deferring hike in energy tariff on peoples demand.

Earlier about 40 advocates led by former MIM leader and advocate Osman Shaheed joined Congress. Bureau Report
