Oct 21: Freddie Kanoute's agent has called for the Football Association to punish Muzzy Izzet following his tackle on the Spurs striker on Sunday. Kanoute faces a two-month injury lay-off following the last-minute tackle which has sprained lateral ligaments in his ankle.
"I'm disgusted. I'll be surprised if the FA does not get involved," McKay told The Sun newspaper.
"Freddie was past him and he took him out."
Kanoute scored the game's winner in the 90th minute but was stretchered off soon after following a late tackle from Izzet.
The club's medical team had feared that Kanoute had broken his ankle.
