Pak says no to joint celebration of uprising anniversary
Islamabad, Jan 05: Pakistan tonight rejected Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee`s suggestion for a joint celebration of the 150th anniversary of the 1857 uprising by India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

To a question on the suggestion made by Vajpayee made at
the opening of the Saarc summit yesterday, Pakistan foreign
office spokesman Masood Khan said "I think the answer is no".
