Most expensive cities for Public Transport

New Delhi: A  study by analysts at Statista has shown that  the cost of public transportation in Scandinavian and Nordic countries  is highly expensive and higher than others.

In the chart compiled by them, cities such as Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Helsinki have topped in the list of rankings.

The capital of Norway is the most expensive city in the world for public transportation. A single ticket can cost the commuters $5. Public transportation is certainly not cheap and travelling in a bus, metro or a ferry in the Norwegian city costs $5.12.

Oslo has topped the ranking for the priciest cities. 

Here are the top 10 most expensive public transportation systems worldwide.

Prices are based on figures for February 2015.
