Arjun Singh to finalise list of Congress candidates for MP polls
Jabalpur, Jan 17: Senior Congress leader Arjun Singh would finalise names of party candidates for the forthcoming Madhya Pradesh assembly polls, during his visit to Mahakoshal region of the state for two days from January 20.

A spokesman of the State Congress committee told a news agency
today that the consent of Arjun Singh would pave way for the
finalisation of the list of Congress candidates.
The list, prepared jointly by Chief Minister Digvijay
Singh and Pradesh Congress Chief Radhakishan Malviya, would be
finally approved by the central election committee of the all
India Congress Committee.
Similarly, another top Congress leader Motilal Vora has
been authorised by the congress high command to select
congress candidates from Chhattisgarh in consultation with
Chief Minister Ajit Jogi and Chhattisgarh PCC chief, he said.
During his visit, Singh would also be accorded a 'civic reception' by the municipal corporation for his "outstanding service to the nation".
