Pro-talk UPDS faction leaves for Delhi
Diphu (Assam), June 08: A team of the pro-talk United Peoples Democratic Solidarity today left for New Delhi to negotiate with the Centre.
Diphu (Assam), June 08: A team of the pro-talk United Peoples Democratic Solidarity today left for New Delhi to negotiate with the Centre.
The team comprises five members and is led by its chairman, UPDS general secretary, Haren Bey, told reporters here today.
The demands of the UPDS include self-rule within the parameters of the Indian Constitution.
The UPDS is currently in ceasefire with the Centre since last year.
