Guna (MP), Nov 13: BJP's chief ministerial candidate in Madhya Pradesh Uma Bharti asked Chief Minister Digvijay Singh to take action against his ministerial colleagues as per the report of the Lokayukt probing corruption charges. She told reporters here that "action should first be taken against some state ministers as per the recommendation of the Lokayukt before any complaint is lodged against Singh."
"We know whom to approach and we will take a decision in this regard. But at the moment, we are approaching the people," Bharti, who was here during filing of nomination by BJP general secretary Shivraj Singh Chauhan from Raghogarh assembly seat against the Chief Minister, said when asked whether BJP would move the Lokayukt.
Replying to a question, she said it would be wrong to say that BJP had made Chauhan a "sacrifical lamb" by putting him up against the Chief Minister in electoral fray.
It should not be forgotten that former chief minister Kailash Nath Katju had been defeated by a Jana Sangh candidate and history can be repeated in Raghogarh constituency where Chauhan is pitted against Digvijay Singh.
