Jodhpur, July 31: Samajwadi Party has alleged the recent spat between BSP and BJP top brass on the Taj corridor controversy was nothing but "mock fighting" between Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati. The recent episode in which Mayawati created a stir by demanding sacking of Union Tourism Minister Jagmohan and then retracting from her stand clearly shows that the trinity was indulging in mock fight, party general secretary Amar Singh told reporters here yesterday.

He said Samajwadi Party will go it alone in the coming assembly elections.

On the issue of reservation for women in parliament and assemblies, Singh said the party was not opposed to it but disfavoured the way it was being sought to be brought about through the proposed bill.
Singh also supported the move for reservation for Rajputs and Brahmins in Rajasthan.
