Srinagar, July 16: Jammu and Kashmir government has reconstituted the State Consumer Protection Council with Minister for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Taj Mohiuddin taking over as its chairman. Suman Bhagat, Farida Munir, G A Sofi (all legislators), Ashaq Hussain, Krishan Amla, Ram Sahai, Ajaz Ahmad Malik, Abdul Hamid Wani, Sonaullah, Ashok Sharma, Danish, Vikramjit Gour, A A Azim, M A Khan, Qayoom Bakshi, Shamima Rains, Usha Jamwal and prominent businesspersons have been made members of the council, official sources said today.
