Surat, July 24: A local court would today hear the bail application of Sunanda Shetty, mother of actress Shilpa Shetty, in connection with an alleged extortion case The court had during the last hearing deferred the matter till today. Sunanda was arrested on May 30 last in Mumbai by the Surat Police. She was granted interim bail by the metropolitian court with a condition to seek regular bail from the Surat court concerned.
