UP police seizes explosives at Indo-Nepal border
Gorakhpur, Nov 16: Uttar Pradesh police seized seven and half quintals of explosives being smuggled to Nepal for supply to Maoist ultras during a lightning raid at a village on the Indo-Nepal border, police sources said today.

No arrests could, however, be made as the carriers of the
explosives escaped to Nepal during the police raid, the
sources added.
The seized explosives were worth over Rs 40 lakh, DSP Harinath Singh Yadav, who led the raiding party, said.
